SCCA Reading Solo Race - Drift Camp - Car Show
October 11-12 2008
This year marks the First Year the Blue Mountain Region SCCA will has been able to use the Greater Reading Expo Center for a Solo Event and the First Ever that Drifting has come to Berks County. We will be featuring a SCCA Blue Mountain Region Sanctioned Solo Event, on October 11th, and on October 12th, a Drift Camp Sponsored my Import Intelligence, to teach the Sport of Drifting. Anyone with a RWD Vehicle can learn or experienced Drifters can come to show off their skills. There will also be a Car Show for both days. Registration is a low $10 per car / person for a 2 day pass. Children under 12 are free!
Drift Camp training will be provided by Matt Waldin from Import Intelligence, Dennis Mertzanis & Damien Bagley from Drift Brigade, and others will be on hand to instruct. We will also be featuring an after party both days at Legends 1 dollar Draft Specials and a Free Buffet!
The Autocross will be at 2 or 3 heats and drivers will also be expected to be corner worker when they are not driving.
The Car Show is for all Vehicles.
Registration for the Autocross and Drifting starts at 8 am.
General Admission and Car Show Starts at 10 am.
Event ends at 5 pm both days.
There will be Food (Breakfast, Lunch), Door Prizes (keep your ticket stubs), and Music!
Monster Energy Drink will be providing free samples and shirts for door prizes.
Quinzo's and Sammy's Steaks will be on site to provide food.
All Fire Fighter's that bring an Id will be able to spectate or show for FREE Thanks to the Support for the Muhlenberg Goodwill Fire Fighters.
It's Just off Rt. 12 (Pricetown Rd) at the Greater Reading Expo Center in North East Reading.
It's a close drive anywhere.
